With the spring high school sports season complete, it’s time to reveal the All-Coastal Preps teams. Over the next week, you will get to know more about the players of the year while also seeing who made first and second team in boys golf, boys tennis, boys and girls track & field, boys and girls lacrosse, girls soccer, softball and baseball

The Coastal Preps Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year is junior Kyle Hatcher of New Hanover.

Kyle’s Accomplishments

Hatcher led the state with 102 goals and added 38 assists to help the Wildcats reach the third round  of the 1A/2A/3A playoffs.

The junior was named the Mideastern Conference Player of the Year. He also made second team All-State and was selected as a US Lacrosse All-American.

Hatcher scored in every game and had a season-high seven in multiple contests.
