The Coastal Preps Football Defensive Player of the Year is senior J’vian McCray from West Brunswick.

J’vian’s Accomplishments

West Brunswick had one of the best seasons in school history thanks to a dominant defense that was led by senior J’vian McCray.

The Trojans won 10 games for the first time since 1997 by allowing only 99 points in 12 games. McCray finished the season with 51 tackles, including 22 for loss, from his defensive tackle position. The ECU signee also had seven sacks and three fumble recoveries.
