Local College Athlete Q&As: May 20, 2020
During this time of uncertainty, one thing I am certain about is that we have a terrific group of college athletes from this area.
Over the next few weeks, I’m going to spotlight as many of them as I can through online Q&A’s. Any college athlete who graduated from a high school in Brunswick, New Hanover or Pender counties that is interested in participating should email me at tim@coastalpreps.com.

What sport do you play? Track & field
What is your major? Exercise Science with a minor in Business Administration
What is your favorite food? Buffalo chicken dip
What is your favorite restaurant? Frying Pan in Southport
What is your favorite movie? Aladdin (animated version)
What is your favorite TV show? Ghost Whisperer
Who are your favorite teams (college or professional)? The sports I watch the most are track & field and gymnastics, so usually I am rooting for individual athletes or Team USA.
Who is your favorite athlete? Shawn Johnson
What is your favorite memory from your high school or college career? My favorite memories are running club track with my best friend Jelonnie Smith. We always had so much fun, especially on relays.

On a scale of 1-10, how good of a singer are you? 1
If you could have dinner with any 3 people (dead or alive), who would they be? Although there are many celebrities I would love to eat dinner with, I would really enjoy just eating with my best friends: Jelonnie, Josh and Noah.
How are you passing the time during this time of social distancing? I am working as a cashier at Walmart, going on runs with my dog, and watching a lot of CSI and Bones.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Maldives
