Holly Shelter 14, Murray 13

The Hurricanes rallied from a 9-2 deficit and won in extra innings to complete the season sweep.

Pitcher Kinsley Archibald picked up her seventh victory of the season for Holly Shelter (7-4) 

Her counterpart, Carly White, finished with 12 strikeouts. Murray (3-8) was led offensively by White, Vayda LeQuire, Maisy Croom and Emersyn Oxendine.

Roland-Grise 10, Myrtle Grove 7

In her final middle school game, Ava Cook recorded 12 strikeouts in six innings while also going 2-for-3 at the plate with a bases-clearing double and three runs scored.

Aubrie Rogers finished 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored, while Sophie T. Solomon went 1-for-2 with a run for Roland-Grise (10-2).

Myrtle Grove (4-7) was led offensively by Adrianna Gomez, who finished 3-for-4 with a double, three RBI and one run scored.

Murray 16, Williston 3

The Falcons ended the season with a mercy-rule victory thanks to impressive offensive performances from Maisy Croom, Chastity Buchanan, Mackenzie Wynn and Emily Shrewsbury.

Murray finished with a 4-8 record under first-year coach Hollie Everhart. Willison went 0-12.

Holly Shelter 13, Noble 2

Sixth grader Sofia Clayton hit a triple and scored three runs to guide the Hurricanes to a season-ending home win.

Kinsley Archibald was once again the winning pitcher for Holly Shelter (8-4), which finished third in the final standings behind Trask and Roland-Grise.

Noble ended the season with a record of 4-8.

Trask 12, Myrtle Grove 3

(Played Tuesday)

An eight-run bottom of the third inning propelled the Bears to a home victory that capped another unbeaten season.

Four pitcher – Makenly Horrell, Brileigh Mathews, Barrett Price and Briley Foster – saw time in the circle and combined for 14 strikeouts.

Horrell went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored, while Foster was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.

Trask (12-0) also got two hits, two RBI and a run scored from Harper Hicks. Ally Brehner collected a pair of hits to go along with one RBI and one run scored.

Myrtle Grove finished with a record 4-8.

Myrtle Grove 30, Trask 12

Quarterback Brodie Kowalski had a pair of rushing touchdowns and the Gators also scored on an interception return from defensive lineman Malachi Jordan to end the season with an impressive home win.

Myrtle Grove’s (4-3) other touchdown came on a 15-yard run from JaQuay Locke. One of Kowalski’s scores came from the 50-yard line on third-and-2.

Trask (4-2) held the ball for the entire third quarter, but the drive ended on an interception by Isaiah Hill. Juelz Randolph also forced a fumble.

Holly Shelter 24, Murray 12

Kadorian Wallace picked off three passes in the dominant season-ending win.

Holly Shelter (2-4) got a pair of touchdowns from Joquin Dingle.

Jude Moulton scored both of Murray’s (3-4) touchdowns.  

Roland-Grise 42, Virgo 0

Five players found the end zone for the Knight in a shutout road victory.

David Hunter scored a pair of touchdowns, while Max Biba, Preston Smith, Matthew Boring and Marshall Chalk all had one.

Roland-Grise ended the season with a record of 5-2, while Virgo finished 0-5.

Noble 52, Williston 7

The Eagles finished off a dominant season with another lopsided victory to secure their fourth county title in five years.

No individual stats were provided for Noble (7-0), which outscored its seven opponents 250-55.

Williston completed the season with an 0-5 record.

Southeastern Middle School League Tournament Championship (Played Thursday)

Carlee Grant had a terrific match with 15 digs, eight kills and six aces to lead the Warriors to the title.

Grant’s final ace sealed the first championship match win for Myrtle Grove Christian over St. Mark in six years.

Chloe Carter added five aces and a pair of blocks.
