2021 Football Co-Offensive Player of the Year: RJ Green

The Coastal Preps Football Co-Offensive Player of the Year is senior quarterback RJ Green from North Brunswick.

RJ’s Accomplishments

North Brunswick had its best season in nearly a decade and the play of senior quarterback RJ Green was a big reason why.

Green completed 148 of 259 passes for 2,215 yards and 25 touchdowns to go along with only three interceptions.

He was also dangerous with the ball in his hands, finishing the season with 93 carries for 483 yards and six touchdowns.

With Green leading the way, the Scorpions finished 7-5 and picked up their first playoff victory since 2013.

Green threw for more than 200 yards seven times, including a career-high 314-yard performance in a 55-22 win over Topsail on Oct. 1.

North Brunswick averaged 28.9 points and surpassed the 30-point mark six times.

Do you have a sweet tooth? If so, what is your favorite treat?: Yes, I would eat Jolly Ranchers before every game and even during the game. I would have them in my sock or hand warmer.
