Grady Donaton, Harris McKoy and Raleigh Sutton all finished with two goals to keep the Falcons unbeaten.

Murray (2-0) also got one goal a piece from Will Ditmar and Karter Krowl. Dittmar, Donaton, McKoy and Maksym McCabe had assists.

The defense was led by Toby Espinosa and Blake Wittman as well as goalie Cayden Smith.

The loss dropped Roland-Grise to 1-2.

Noble 5, Myrtle Grove 4

(Played Thursday)

The Eagles held on for a hard-fought victory behind a strong performance from Loukas Maselli, who finished with three goals and one assist.

Gabe Maselli added one goal and one assist. Noble’s (2-1) other goal came from Vance Prescott.

Myrtle Grove (1-2) goalie Travis Goins finished with five saves.

Trask 7, Williston 1

(Played Thursday)

Brody Willard’s hat trick guided the Bears to their first win of the season.

Trask (1-2) also got one goal a piece from Sampson Feamster, Junior Martinez, Joseph Stough and Asher Wessel.

The loss dropped Williston to 0-2.

Riley Peers and Pearl Vasquez both found the back of the net for the Tigers in a nonconference road loss.

Mariam Barrientos, Lila Dubaj and Angel Gore also played well.

Trask 6, Williston 6

(Played Thursday)

Williston goalie Aaliyah White saved a free position shot in the final 10 seconds to end the game in a tie.

White and Stella Swart-Garcia both made four saves while sharing time. The Tigers (0-0-2) were led offensively by Pearl Vasquez, who scored four goals. Mariam Barrientos put home the other two goals.

Trask (0-2-1) got three goals and three assists from Harper Hicks as well as two goals and two assists from Sarah Beasley. Maggie Millard scored once, while Maaike Shaw handed out one assist.

Noble 13, Myrtle Grove 4

(Played Thursday)

The Eagles rolled to their third straight win behind a four-goal performance from Bailey Bendjy. 

Bendjy also dished out one assist. Dylan Brisson finished with a hat trick and one assist. Noble (3-0) also got one goal and one assist from Cailyn Freeman, Ava Henderson and Vivian Skiba. 

Allie Cassie, Elizabeth Everhardt and Piper Wendt all found the back of the the net once. Marley Anderson and Madelyn McCarthy both had one assist.

Myrtle Grove slipped to 0-2-1.

The Falcons scored once in the first inning and added three more runs in the second to build an insurmountable lead.

Bryce Sawyer led off the game with a walk. He stole a pair of bases before scoring on an RBI ground out from Brock Adkins. 

Nolan Wilson and Garrett Dye both had run-scoring singles in the second inning. Adkins and Dye each finished with two RBI, while Sawyer and Wilson crossed the plate twice for Murray (2-1)

Xander Tsingelis scattered four hits and struck out two batters in four scoreless innings to earn the victory. Dye pitched the final two innings and didn’t allow a hit.

Myrtle Grove is now 2-2.

Roland-Grise 23, Williston 1 (4 innings)

(Played Tuesday)

The Knights pounded out 15 hits and drew 11 walks to cruise on the road.

Graham McNeely and Briggs Ulrich each finished 2-for-2 with two walks and four runs scored. Ulrich added three RBI.

Roland-Grise (3-1) scored six runs in the first inning and put the game out of reach with a 14-run third inning.

Hutton Badrock went 2-for-3 with five RBI and two runs scored. Tristan Stewart and Alex Walters both had two hits and two RBI, while Brandon Bush also collected a pair of hits and scored twice.

Kyler Terry crossed the plate three times.

Three pitchers – Bush, Terry and Ulrich – combined to allow one run on two hits with seven strikeouts.

The loss moved Williston to 0-3.

Roland-Grise 12, Trask 2 (5 innings)

Shortstop Tristan Stewart had a single, two walks, two stolen bases, three RBI and two runs scored for the victorious Knights.

Roland-Grise (4-1) sent 13 batters to the plate in a seven-run top of the first inning. 

That was more than enough run support for Julian Guthrie, who earned the victory by throwing three hitless innings with a pair of strikeouts.

Graham McNeely, Briggs Ulrich, and Hutton Badrock all had one hit and two runs scored. Max Gonthier drove in two runs. 

Trask slipped to 1-3 on the season.

Murray 3, Noble 1

(Played Wednesday)

Excellent pitching performances from Brock Adkins and Xander Tsingelis lifted the Falcons to a hard-fought road victory.

Adkins allowed an unearned run on one hit with nine strikeouts in four innings to pick up the victory. Tsingelis was awarded the save after throwing a pair of scoreless innings.

Murray (3-1) scored in the top of the first inning, but Noble (1-3) evened things up with a run in the third. 

The Falcons grabbed the lead for good when Landon Grigsby led off the fourth inning with a walk and eventually scored on a one-out single from Garrett Dye. 

Adkins scored an insurance run in the sixth inning on a ground out from Tsingelis. 

Dylan Fortun scored the Eagles’ lone run on a single from from Hudson Pickard. 

Holly Shelter 8, Williston 3

(Played Wednesday)

Pitchers Wylie Reddick and Jackson Brooks combined for 13 strikeouts to give the Hurricanes a road victory.

Reddick secured the win by allowing three runs on four hits with 10 strikeouts in five innings.

The game was tied at 3-all after five innings, but Holly Shelter (3-0) scored five runs in the top of he sixth to grab the lead for good. 

Five consecutive walks made the score 5-3. Later in the inning, Amari Givens cleared the bases with a two-out triple to right field. 

Reddick and Givens each finished with two hits.

Williston fell to 0-4.

Holly Shelter 11, Trask 1 (4 innings)

The Hurricanes drew 17 walks to secure their second win in as many days. 

Jackson Brooks had two of Holly Shelter’s (4-0) four hits. He also threw a complete game with eight strikeouts.

Kinsgston Moore, Colin Stevens and Dylan Wasserberg all scored twice. Brooks drove in a team-high two runs. 

Braylon Quitman doubled and scored Trask’s (1-4) only run in the top of the fourth inning.

The Knights didn’t have any trouble on the road thanks in large part to a team-high eight aces from Ellie Keene.

Seventh grader Lily Voth put down three kills for Roland-Grise (4-0).

With the loss, Williston slipped to 0-3.

After dropping the opening set, the Falcons regrouped and captured the final two for their first victory of the season.

Murray (1-2) got strong performances from Marley Burk, Phoebe Eskew, Addie Foland, Julianna Gann, Harper Harris, Amelia Johnson, Caroline Meaney and Madelyn Taylor.

Myrtle Grove is now 2-2 on the season.

Noble 2, Murray 0 (25-11, 25-23)

The Eagles earned the sweep by serving 18 aces, including a team-best five from Libby Harrington. 

Maille Smith put down five kills to go along with two aces, while Kara Williams finished with three kills and two aces.

Noble (3-1) also got three kills from Edie Bartlett. Ella Burke served four aces, while Skylar Ryan added two kills, one ace and one block.

Murray dropped to 1-3.

Roland-Grise 2, Trask 0 (25-6, 25-13)

Norah Davis and Lydia Maughan combined for 11 kills for the unbeaten Knights.

Davis led the way with six, while Maughan added five. Easton Fox chipped in three kills and three aces.

Roland-Grise (5-0) also got outstanding performances from setters Lily Voth (10 assists and four aces) and Ellie Keene (nine assists and three aces).

Trask’s record is now 3-2.
