GIRLS SOCCER

Murray 7, Holly Shelter 0

A hat trick from Vivian Pace kept the Falcons’ perfect season alive.

Through six matches, Murray (6-0) has outscored its opponents 33-2.  

Palyn Everhart, Kieran Bradley, Sarah Brannin and Ariana Marshall had the other goals.

Bradley now has eight goals on the season, while Everhart and Brannin increased their total to four.

Holly Shelter dropped to 2-4.

Noble 3, Roland-Grise 3

The Eagles and Knights battled to a draw for the second time this season.

Neither team scored in the season opener on November 2. 

Aubrie Rogers found the back of the net twice for Roland-Grise (3-1-3), while McKenna Rogers scored the other goal.

No individual stats were provided for Noble (3-1-3).

BOYS BASKETBALL

Roland-Grise 64, Virgo 25

Eleven players scored for the Knights in the victory that snapped a two-game losing streak.

Nakula O’Connor led the way with 12 points, while Marquese Higgins chipped in nine. Wallace Perrow drained a pair of 3-pointers en route to eight points.

Roland-Grise (2-5) also got six points a piece from Everett Hoerdemann and Weston Chalk.

Virgo fell to 0-7 on the season.

Murray 48, Holly Shelter 45

Keyon Jones scored a game-high 17 points to help the Falcons earn a hard-fought road win.

Brayden Chase added 13 points, while Troy Stubbs finished with nine. Murray (5-2) also got seven points from Aiden Locklear.

Holly Shelter (3-4) was led by Joquin Dingle, who scored 16 points. Antwan Greene and Zayquan Sapps both added eight.

Myrtle Grove 34, Holly Shelter 22

The Gators shook off Monday’s one-point loss with a comfortable home victory to complete the season sweep.

No individual stats were provided for Myrtle Grove (5-3).

Joquin Dingle was once again the leading scorer for Holly Shelter (3-5). He finished with eight points, while Antwan Greene had five.
