Kaitlyn’s Accomplishments

Topsail’s Kaitlyn Obremski capped her stellar career with an outstanding senior season that featured five victories, including a fourth Mideastern Conference Championship.

Obremski had the two fastest times in the area, including the only sub-18 minute run. She crossed the finish line in 17:52.94 on September 9 at the Wilmington Beach Blast.

Six of the seven fastest times came from Obremski. She earned her fourth straight MEC title with a dominant 38-second victory at Long Leaf Park on October 13.

Obremski went on to finish second at the 4A East Regional and 10th at the states.

She holds the course record at every local venue – Kiwanis Park, Long Leaf Park, Northwest Park, Olsen Park, Poplar Grove Plantation and Wallace Park.

Obremski is currently weighing her college options, but plans to continue running at whichever school she chooses.
